I've put the Fairey Fisherman to one side for the moment so that I can return to the Fairey sports cruisers. Been a few weeks since I started applying primer-undercoat to the roof so I gave it a sanding and applied another couple of coats. This is going to be a lighter blue than the other already used and I've used it on my Fairey River Cruiser.

When I bought the paint I chose it based on the painted lid of the tin (which should be more reliable than colour charts) but when I came to use it. it was much darker, even allowing for the dark grey primer-undercoat. So as with the River Cruiser I've added some white (half that of the blue, which looks about right.

First coat on, which looks patchy over the dark grey, but will be fine once a few coats have been applied. I've also turned to the RC etc. installation. Battery box has been sanded, resin coated and screwed into place. Then on with the rest.
