There is also plastic lettering available in various sizes from model railroad suppliers - seem to remember Slaters plasticard being the makers - very effective if you wanted raised lettering as was sometimes seen on the older models.

Does anyone know where I can obtain boat name decals or transfers made to order, they are for a vintage “les Rowell” sea queen that I am currently restoring and updating. “By “vintage” I mean, the motor is the size and weight of a cobblers last and the receiver operates via a glass valve.😎
